Molcajetes // Perla Valtierra

A traditional object of mexican culture as Molcajete is re-interpreted and re-thinked by young designer and ceramist Perla Valtierra. The Molcajete is a stone tool as a mortar, used by Aztec and Maya during the past, nowarday it is used to prepare or to serve salsa and guacamole in restaurants and at home. I like the design so strongly mexican, very nice work Perla, congratulation!
