“When you are feeling blue. Think red” Pauline Trigère. To whom does not know Pauline Trigère was a French-born American fashion designer. Her clientele included many famous woman such as the Duchess of Windsor, actress Claudette Colbert and singer Lena Horne. She was also known to have designed the wardrobe of Patricia Neal in the film Breakfast at Tiffany.
She often said “Fashion is what people tell you to wear”. ”Style is what comes from your own inner thing.” She herself was an exemplar of style and ”a creator of timeless fashion”. A part from her indisputable talent I admire her for her strong character. She once told an assistant ”There is room for only one prima donna around here, and that’s me”. Yes, you really were a prima donna!
