The Monday Listener (goes Tuesday) // The Abc Club

One day of delay due to a lovely holiday in the sunny south of Italy, but The Monday Listener is back, happy and (a little bit) suntanned. And exactly while I was on a beach lying down on my sunbed (which I am not totally sure is something you can say when you talk about indie-rock) I listened for the first time to White Lies by The Abc Club and then again and again and again… . They are five, they are from Leeds and Zandra’s singing style has been compared to Morrissey’s, even though she admits that she has never listen to The Smiths by choice (I knew this was a breaking rules issue!!). Enjoy!!
