Nicolas Jaar, electronic musician. No real need for presentation. The guy has some pretty clear ideas of what is doing (please don’t say it’s chill out!!) and what he wants to achieve with his music production. And that’s one reason why I love him so much. But the real reason why Nicolas Jaar is issue #3 of the Monday Listener is that he’s finally coming to Italy, this Saturday 7th of July at the Dancity Festival in Foligno (PG) and … I am going to miss it. But you, if you can go than, please, DO IT!!

What does that live setup enable you to do that you couldn’t with a more conventional, Ableton-and-nothing else arrangement?
