My friend Eleonora has a garden. Well, she doesn’t exactely own it. She and other young people like her are part of a project of guerriglia gardening named RappOrto . RappOrto is the idea of taking back one of the most urbanized part of the town and to grow in it relationships, opportunities and, of couse, a garden. They grow flowers and vegetables, they accepts seeds donations of any kind, they organize dinners and events that mix gardening and art and, my favourite project, they teach kids about gardening, different plants and fruits.
