Another place that you can not miss it is the french/thai restaurant Dibuk. It is located in the Sino Portuguese quarter of old Phuket and it is far from the typical tourist destination; actually this is what it makes the place so special. You can have a candlelight dinner. The atmosphere is cozy and the interior design is so charming, with vintage pieces and new one. I do like the rough aspect of the not finished wall painting, where the different painting layers are a track of the past. This is absolutely the best restaurant in the town, a remarkable dinner experience. Also this one is in a Sino Portuguese shophouse. Here is the address:

China Inn Café is another hidden treasure in Phuket town, even if it has been visited by King and Queen of Sweden. It is not the usual restaurant, first you have to walk through two anterooms where antiques are displayed. The front rooms have an extremely accurate selection of antiquities, I really like the pictures hanged on the wall explaining the details of restoration. I also found a old picture of a chinese family and if you look carefully at it you will see that the woman is wearing the “golden lilies shoes”. The restaurant area is arranged in the shade alongside the courtyard wall, facing to the internal garden. Only few tables, a delightful place to eat, to chat or to read.

In Phuket town it is pleasant to walk getting lost, here are some pics taken around.
