Just 5 minutes outside the super busy and noisy Ekkamai there’s a place where the independent Thai (and not only) music scene finds its venue to showcase in Bangkok. This place is SOL. Really a unique space in Bangkok: simple, white, and if you don’t find space inside there is always the beautiful garden shared with the guys of pumpumpumpum sound studio where you can sit, chat, drink a beer, and listen to the show from the loudspeakers.
I was there yesterday night for Like How You Feel, one night of Thai indie-rock and experimental music organized by the record label and event organizer SO::ON Dry FLOWER to celebrate the come back of Thai musician Atit Sornsongkram. And what better way to celebrate than one night of live music together with other bands of the Bangkok based label, like Desktop ErrorAssajan Jakgawan and Talkless.

A perfect night. Exciting and moving. Like only live music can be.
